BV: So what's going on with you and Nicki Minaj?

LK: "Well, here's the situation. At the end of the day, when I came into the industry, I had to ... let me take that back. I didn't have to pay homage [to female rappers], but I did, I chose to. Because I knew that would be better for my career, but not only that, I love those girls! I did pattern myself after Salt-N-Pepa and all these other girls that were in the industry, Da Brat, and Lady of Rage. I would've look like a fool coming in saying little things and subliminal raps, because how could I ever disrespect these women who have been in the industry and paved the way for me?

"See that's the problem, why don't we just be real here and go back to a year and a half ago when she was just busting shots out of every place when she said in one of her interviews, 'Oh, you know I'm going to sit by the pool and have the females in the game who's been here for 10 years feeding me grapes, being that they don't have nothing else to do right now.' Oh yeah, bitch. I remember that! I remember that, I'm not going to forget it! Because at the end of the day, how dare you disrespect me or any other female that's been in this industry for so long. She's the same dag on age as us. Stop it! You coming in the game at 30 years old, don't even freakin' go there, don't go there."

BV: When we found out that Drake said that she's the best rap chick in the game, she's the only rap chick in the game.

LK: "See that's another problem that I have, I'm going to briefly explain this, but here's another thing that the world doesn't know ... I have a really great relationship with the people who run her camp [Cash Money Records], Slim andBaby. My relationship is with Slim, I've been cool with him for four or five years now. This whole thing came about when she was first trying to come up and everything. I honestly didn't like it. It was so obvious that she wanted to be like me. It was so obvious that she wanted to pattern herself after me. She likes me, but she just doesn't know how to show me love. So I looked at it like, they know how to do it, cause Slim always got the industry, me and him got the same thing. I got a lot of love for Slim. So his thing was, we should all do something together and that's how I saw it. I was like, 'Hey it would be great for hip-hop to see me and a female rocking together.'

"I wasn't blown away by her when she first came out and even now I'm not blown away. But I thought that she had a rhyme style that would've flowed with mine that I liked. And I said I could kind of see myself rapping with her. So I was like ok, let me make some friends here. I threw up the white flag. So I'm over here and Baby asked Slim to ask me to do a record for his album. I did the record. They put Nicki Minaj on the record, No problem. I said let's do it. Baby was like, 'Yo, this record is crazy' when I did my verse he loved it. He was like, 'I don't just like it, I love it.'

"When they put the record out, I guess the response that they got for her wasn't what they wanted because everybody was saying that I smashed the record. So [Baby] pulled the record back. They f---ing sh---ed on me!? Ok, now it's time, now it's war, because I'm tired. I'm tired of people taking advantage of me and being quiet and people don't know what's going on."

BV: Now what about you and Jay-Z?

LK: "I love Jay-Z. But here's the thing, he had a conversation with me before about bringing me on Roc-A-Fella. And it didn't happen. But, hey, maybe this is the right timing. I don't always agree with everything Jay-Z does, and he doesn't always agree with everything that I do. But we've been friends since 15 years old, so I look at it like there's no escaping him. Same thing with Puffy [Diddy]. Puffy and I are brother and sister. And we're going to fight, but I can't escape from Puffy. It's almost like, I'm stuck with the boy. We're brother and sister and we both don't always do the right thing. As a matter of fact, most of the time he doesn't do the right thing. It's a love-hate thing I guess. I'm just so tired of doing so much for him and he doesn't do anything for me. It's time for me to start giving back to Kimmy."

4.Apalachicola: Gibson Inn HWY 98: The phone rings on rooms that are not occupied,and the switchboard mysterious lights up.

5.Apopka: Orange Blossom Trail(right by the fruit stand near the Walmart)A native American in lion cloth crosses the highway,looks at you then disappears.

6.Apopka: The Captain and the Cowboy Restaurant:Loud bangs come from the attic and when your alone,you can feel someone brush up against you.

7.Arcadia: Old Blue House in the neighborhood:A family was killed there in the 1800s and the house was burned down shortly after.A new house was built on top of their graves in the 1900's.Spirits are said to still be living in the house.

8.Astor: Campsite Gobbler Rd: Glowing male figure often seen walking down the road around 9:30-11:00pm

9.Aurburndale: The Bowling Alley: It's reportedly cursed,it was built on swampland,some say no one can mange the bulding because it is haunted

10.Aurburndale: the Good Sheppard Hospice: there are about 10 beds there and about 2 or 3 people die there a week.

7.The pregnant con artist and her victim: Shame on the pregnant woman who scammed the lady out of 5000.And shame on the victim for giving that kind of money to someone you don't know.The pregnant woman claimed they won the lottery,but because they were illegal,they couldn't cash the ticket.But for 5000.00 they would give her 30,000.00 in return.When she asked for the money back,they gave her a bag with newspaper and rocks!

6.Tylenol: They have made  a bad batch or something,now the only meds that take the edge off other than an IV will be in short supply until 2011,REALLY?!?!?!

5.Judge Erickson: Is on a power trip,he is really letting that gavel go to his head.He locking folks up for being late,traffic tickets,and everything else.and what's crazy is he's not giving them their day in court,he's just sentencing them.

4.The Candidate's running for Governor of Florida and the Senate: Instead of spending all that money telling us why your opponent shouldn't be in office,why not use that money to create jobs as well as opportunity the state could benefit form?I mean if you put your money where your mouth is and show me better than tell me,I would be more inclined to vote for you.Talk is cheap,it takes cash money to buy land!

3.Omar Curry:Former Marion County teacher already in trouble for allegedly having sex with two of his students is now being accused of having a child with former student who was 17. This dude would call the girls out of class to have sex with them,Whut da Hale!!! I don't care how old these kids look or act,they are still kids!If you like em that age then you need to seek help ASAP.This is getting really old!!

2.The Mayor of Oviedo: Okay you turned in your two week notice citing the need to take care of your sick husband,then less than a week letter you changed your mind.Hmm seems husband had an overnight cure or he may have been well all the time. He probably found out on the news like everyone else and lit her a new one.

Vonetta McGee: Leading Lady of Blaxploitation Era Dead At 65

Vonetta McGee, an actress who scaled the ranks of Black Hollywood during blaxploitation film era of the 1970s, passed away after experiencing cardiac arrest and being on life support for two days. She was 65, though some have her year of birth listed as 1940.

McGee appeared opposite Fred Williamson in the black action movie 'Hammer' in 1972, and had starring roles in the crime-drama 'Melinda' and the popular horror film 'Blacula.'

Los Angeles Times movie reviewer once considered McGee "one of the busiest and most beautiful black actresses."

The San Francisco native also appeared with Richard Roundtree in 'Shaft in Africa' (1973), and co-starred with her lover, Max Julien, in 'Thomasine & Bushrod' (1974).McGee also appeared with Clint Eastwood in the 1975 action-thriller 'The Eiger Sanction,' which was considered a coup for a black actress during that period.

"I was pleased to see her get a role with Clint Eastwood," Williamson told the Los Angeles Times. "Not many black actors had that opportunity to be in a movie where color doesn't matter."

"Vonetta McGee was like a lot of actors and actresses at that time, like myself, Jim Brown, Richard Roundtree, Billy Dee Williams and Pam Grier, in that we had more talent than we were allowed to show because everything was perceived as a black project. Once they categorize you, your marketability becomes limited," he added.

Known to be outspoken herself, McGee didn't care too much for the "blaxploitation" label that was attached to many of the films of her heyday. The label, she said, was used ""like racism, so you don't have to think of the individual elements, just the whole. If you study propaganda, you understand how this works."

On a segment of 'Soul Train' in 1974, McGee joked that she had to go through a "lot of pain" to get her acting career started. In actuality, she attended San Francisco State college when she got involved with a local acting group. McGee launched her film career in 1968 in Italy, where she debuted in the spaghetti western 'The Great Silence' and played the title role in the comedy 'Faustina.'

While starring in several episodes of the 1980s drama series 'Cagney & Lacey,' alongside Carl Lumbly, McGee fell in love with the dashing actor.

"I still remember the first day she came on the set -- it was August 21,1984 -- and we were scheduled to do a bedroom scene," Lumbly reflected in a 1989 Ebony magazine profile on celebrity couples. "Later, when we left the set I realized we were holding hands ... We married two years later."

The couple had a son, Brandon, in 1988.

According to family spokeswoman Kelley Nayo, McGee had been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma at age 17, but her July 9 death was not related to the disease.

In addition to her husband and son, she is survived by her mother, Alma McGee; three brothers, Donald, Richard and Ronald McGee; and a sister, Alma McGee.

"She was a brilliant actor, with a distinctive style and grace," Pam Grier told BV Newswire upon hearing the death of McGee's death. "I hope everyone revisits her films and enjoy. I wish peace and love to Carl, her husband her son and and her family."

Then she turns around and hits the couch of anyone who will have her to state they had reconciled and were planing on remarrying,What da what?!?!?Now she wants to be in charge of his estate........Um Gary was broke,what could she possibly be trying to control?I guess it does take different strokes to rule the world.......



Why is it when people die,everybody want's a handout?We all know Mike's love for the kids,now a year after his death,his alleged son want's to join in on the wrongful death suit. Prince Michael Malachi Jet Jackson is the alleged 25 year old son of the King of Pop.I don't know who I want to slap first him,of Daddy Joe for just being in the mix!Everyone has had their own speculations on MJ's sexuality,at the end of the day,it was his business.Now they are trying to make Mike into a Cassonova who loved them and left them with little MJ spawns all over the world,REALLY?!?!?

Well it didn't take long for this union to bite the dust.Christina Milian just can't catch a break.She is the poster child of what a cheater looks for.Baby Violet is not even six months old and daddy "The Dream" is running wild with another woman.I knew something was wrong when he said it wasn't his job to help with the baby,that's what the staff is for.Really dude? I just hope the two of them can get along for the sake of their child,Violet didn't pick who she was born to,yet they need to focus on how they raise their little girl!

By know you all have heard Mad Max has gone beyond Thunderdome! People;e are losing their minds at the allegations of racism and the allegations of abuse.Once again it's a classic case of how we embrace these celebrities as though they do no wrong and then the first sight of them being human,you all but loose your mind! Mel lost is when he was convicted of that drunk driving case.He came back and redeemed himself,then he showed out again.Now I hear people throwing away their Mel Gibson movies and getting their panties in a bunch.Ask yourself,what makes Mel any different from anyone else you know?Doesn't matter how much money you have,you are still human,doesn't matter how good of an actor you are,you can only hide your true colors for so long!Instead of sinning and idolizing these "false Gods",pray that they get it together.I bet Mel's ex wife is glad it ended when it did and she no longer has to deal with this madness,cause please believe this is not new.It just spiraled out of control.I just want to know what made the girlfriend tape all this stuff,and why she releasing a tape a day? Congrats on the Wedding,but um how long should it take to put a ring on it?

Well this past weekend quiet a few celebrities have gotten hitched.Most noted was Martin Lawrence and his longtime love Shamicka Gibbs and Carmelo Anthony finally wed his lady love LaLa Vasquez. Both couples have years and kids invested into the relationship,so the question is how long should one wait to marry or should they marry at all after they have children?I think we have to do whatever works for us,however when your in the public eye,people tend to want you to do things on their time rather than your own.There are not many old fashion people these days.Before you marry then have children.Then you got pregnant,had a shotgun wedding before the baby was born.Now you have the children,and when the kids go of to college,you make it official.What's funny about this (not really) is when our children follow our path we become angry with them as though we set a better standard.We have to raise the bar.If we don't want our children to smoke,Then we shouldn't smoke,Not every situation can be changed,yet it is our responsibility to set a standard and stick to it.
LaLa played it smart in a sense,she had the one baby and waited.If he didn't put a ring on it,then she wouldn't have had to worry about a house full of kids.Shamicka was the one who stuck by Martin when he had his meltdown.I guess after what he went through with his first wife,he wasn't trying to repeat it,but eventually love prevailed and all is well in their world! Once again Congrats to the happy couple's and I pray that they have a blessed union.

Miami aint the only place feeling the HEAT

By now everyone on the planet knows that Miami Heat just snatched up LeBron James.Although I'm not sure who's the bigger baby out of Bron Bron and Kobe,I have to uncrown Lebron for being unsportsmanlike and hand that crown over to Dan Gibson.That dude went in on Lebron as if he caught him cooking naked in his kitchen.He went on about how Cleveland made Lebron and how he disrespected them by leaving.You created that monster and like all monster who get to big for their cages,they break out and become unruly! Although I am not a fan,I am all for a person doing what is needed to grow.I understand your golden goose has flown the coup and your angry,however you are setting a poor example by your actions.Snatching jersey's off the shelves,burning the jersey's in the streets and just showing your behinds.Shame on you Cleveland.All I know when the Heat and the Cavs play,thats must see t.v.

Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Wherever You May Be Tonight.

As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.

This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his “decision” unlike anything ever “witnessed” in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.

Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.

The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.

There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.

You simply don’t deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.

You have given so much and deserve so much more.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:

“I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS ONE”

You can take it to the bank.

If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our “motivation” to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.

Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.

Sorry, but that’s simply not how it works.

This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown “chosen one” sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And “who” we would want them to grow-up to become.

But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called “curse” on Cleveland, Ohio.

The self-declared former “King” will be taking the “curse” with him down south. And until he does “right” by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.

Just watch.

Sleep well, Cleveland.

Tomorrow is a new and much brighter day….
