Everyone has gon through a moment in life where you want the approval of others.Up until recently I felt bad because I never felt the acceptance from my dad's family that everyone else got.THey accept my children but never me.It confused me for a moment because how can you accept one and not the other.I was only as good as what you needed.If I had nothing to give then I was just another face in the crowd.I finally was able to move past the feelings of resentment through the power of prayer.I know how it feels to really just want to be a part of something special.Rather it be family,work or an organization.When you work hard or put yourself out there and you get rejected or passed over it's enough to make you feel like you will never be good enough.You can't allow other people's ignorance to place a cloud of bad feelings over you.Once you push past all the guilt of not belonging,and focus on the joy's accepting yourself and loving yourself,you will find that nothing anyone does or says will matter because you accept yourself.

Whut Da Hale!!!
Ok so I was watching the news(I know right)the other night and how bout Kathi B just put all the Anthony bnesss on blast.Bank of America told they were about to go into foreclosure. Then Kathi B said,"The Anthony's stop paying their mortgage five months before they went on their big cruise.Now here's my question,Cindy said she couldn't go back to work because no one would hire her,however she's receiving disability.I know they may not pay much but for disability but um you can't put something on it till you caught up?Then Leonard Padilla offered to pay it and they said no.Whut da hale going on?!?!
I thought we were through with this movie called The Anthony's.I'm all for innocent till proven guilty,I'm all for justice for little Caylee.But I am so over her grandmother puppeteering in the background,sit down somewhere lady I mean really!!

Well Shania says "O my gosh I know her".Bubba said" stop tellin that lie you don't know that lady!"So she insist that she does because of a trip years ago to the park.I have a good memory how ever Im not sure I could recognize her from that blurry picture so how my child saw it with out her glasses is beyond me.

Here are a few helpful hint From Heloise for some common problems:
Keep blue jeans from fading?
Turn inside out and wash in the coolest water possible; dry on lowest heat. Try dry-cleaning jeans once every five to six washings to slow down the fading process and keep colors fresh longer.
Freshen a garbage disposal?
Sprinkle baking soda in it along with a few drops dish-washing liquid. Scrub with a brush (a new toilet brush works great), getting under the rubber gasket and all around the inside. Then turn on water and the disposal and flush thoroughly. For a fresh citrus scent, throw in a few cut-up lemons or limes and run them through, too, using lots of water.
Clean cloudy drinking glasses?
Soak them for an hour or longer in slightly warm (not boiled) white vinegar. Then use a nylon-net or plastic scrubbie to remove film. Still there? The damage must be etching (tiny scratches that occur in the dishwasher) and is permanent, sorry to say. To avoid: Hand-wash your best glasses.

Use my mother's famous 1960's roach bait recipe: Combine equal parts boric acid (a powder sold in hardware stores and drugstores) and sugar, mix well. Sprinkle in crevices and, if building or remodeling, between walls before putting up plaster board. Put the powder in jar lids; place lids behind the fridge and under sinks.
Caution: Keep mixture away from children and pets. If ingested in large quantities, or even in small amounts over several days, boric acid can be harmful.

That had to hurt...
I missed all the excitment that happened at the Olympics yesterday.A Swedish speed skater would have won the gold had his coach not given him the wrong instructions.Had he moved to the outside lane instead of the inside lane,he would have captured his second gold medal.I myself would have fired the coach on the spot.I mean no one likes to lose,but when you actually won,but get disqualified because your coach gave you the wrong directions....That had to hurt.

Finish what you started before you start on somethng else
For years I've heard you always need a plan B.Well let me help you with that.Sometimes it takes some people longer to get it together than others.If you don't have the patience to wait for someone to get it together,then you really need to get someone who is already where they need to be. What puzzles me often times is you want your mate to be in this place,but your not.I often hear people say I want a partner who has this, that, and the other, yet they don't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of.Come to the table with more than a good conversation.Cause at the end of the day we're supposed to be "a helpmate" to our partner,not just the recipient of what ever they have to offer.
Your plan B should always be how you can move forward if and when the relationship is over.You should have things in line that if you need to move on you can.So many get locked into a relationship because they allowed their partner to control every aspect of their relationship,and they end up feeling trapped because they don't have a plan.
Now Im not saying run around plotting the great escape.Im just saying don't get caught slipping.
Nothing last forever and you have to be prepared fpr a rainy day!
So before you try to start creeping around the corner to see whats going on in the neighbors yard,finish what you started,before you get into another relationship and add unneccessary drama into the lives of others!
One of my sisters made a valid point last week when she said "finish the relationship your in,before you start another one".

Are you Being Grown or Playing Grown
Why do people insist on living beyond their means?Your not going to die if you can't keep up with the "Jonese".You not gonna die if have to ride in a hoopty as opposed to driving a Beamer or Benz.Stop materializing your life and placing a superfical value on it.I notice when big event come to town,folks go buy all this name brand stuff,get their hair done,even rent a car and rent some rims to go on the rental car so they can look good.When the weekend is over and they turned all that stuff in,their left with nothing.Their sitting in a dark apartment or house with little or nothing to eat,and they kids wishing they coulda been placed with anyone but you.That right there is playing grown up.
Being grown is being able to say I gotta eat when that event is over and Im not going to be able to do it this trip.The power company is not going to understand you sepnt their money trying to impress someone who only see you for somethin that your not.When you play grown up not only are you making it hard for people to take you serious,no one wants to deal with you because they think your still childish and no one wants to play games unless their made by Milton Bradly or Hasbro!

Ok so the Magic vs Cavs game just came on.Im listening to it will doing other things.Well Dwight is asked how does he feel about Shaq's comment on the Superman issue.Well Bubba started talking crap.So I said,It doesnt matter who uses tha name,its about the game.Shaq has done alot since being in the league on and off the court.Dwight has a bright future in the NBA and maybe Shaq mad cause he making BenGay Commercials and Dwight is a in heavier rotation.Oh he went into straight hater mode.When things become a debate,I thought the goal was to listen to both sides and at the end draw a line in the sand and agree to disagree not storm off cause you don't like my point of veiw.Stop acting like LeBron and learn to play nice or you may end up in the corner!

Im sitting here watching the news and while their still analyzing Tiger Woods,I'm still confused as to why our young people have recieved these golden oppertunities and seem to loose the almost as fast as they got them.
There's a saying: "Dont forget where you come from",it doesnt mean bring where you come from with you.If you struggled then make it big,you should do everything in your power not to go back to that place.Alot of our young men make it out via sports and they cant complete college or make their goal for the NBA or NFL because they bring the neighborhood life with them.Some of the parents have failed them,however we as a society should not.Some may not know better and others may not care,but we need to go back to the days of it takes a village.My soapbox this year is going to be "to reach one,teach one".Join with me and lets change the way our children think and make it a positive outlook.

I just crawled into bed for the night happy that I had a good week overall.I turn to Bubba to tell him about the new things Im working on and how I started my own blog only to have him say keep him out of it.Everything I type comes back to him.Um what exactly am I saying thats so bad?Is it bad that I brag on the fact that I have a good man who stands beside me no matter what.Is it bad that I have a group of friends who push to be better and rise above it all.Is it bad that when Im down these people prove to be my real friends by prayig without even knowing that I need it.I know I am blessed and that says alot because there's alot of people who would love to walk in my shoes.I just find it childish to run and tell everything you read like you shaking up something.Imma shine through the storm and rain with or without Bubba or anyone else for that matter cause I am what God intended me to be and he wont let me suffer for others foolishness.I will not shut up or change the way I express myself.And for those who think I should,Let me stand at an angle so you can kiss my entire ---!!

Ok so Im sitting here in my bed trying to come up with some ideas for business and things for our OES Chapter when I get a knock on my door.William comes in and says "Mommie the cement people want you".WTH.I go outside and someone has written N----r in front of the house on the concrete they just poured.I told William to go get Tarance.I told him did'nt I tell you you can't write in the concrete?He said"Mommie I just wrote my initials down there,I don't know who did that."I told the gentleman holding the bucket to give it to my son cause even if he didnt do it he should fix it.The gentleman declined the offer and expressed how happy he was to see that there are still some parents who want their children to do the right thing.The boss man on the other hand was a piece of work.While this gemtleman was on his hands and knees scrubin,he riding in the truck saying"Why does this always happen in these neighborhoods"........Say whut?!?!When he saw me he said kids will be kids.I said "It doesnt matter where they come from wrong is wrong and right is right.He held his head down.Trouble has no color.The sooner people realize that we are all the same.Some are a few shades lighter,but we all bleed red,and we all are trying to live this thing called life,one day at a time.My only hope is that our children understand that labeling yurself a n----r is not cool.To many lifes have been lost behind that word.If you cant stand someone else to call you that,then you shouldnt say it.

Ok so today Tiger Woods is going to break his silence and give a scripted statement.Well the folks over at Golf Magazine are pissy cause they can't ask questions.Um I got that memo without my invitation to go to the press conference so how come they didn't?I mean really people,he dont owe no one an apology but God and Elin.
Next on the list,Amy Bishop goes to work,kills some co workers,then says,"I did'nt kill anyone,their went home".Say whut!!This chick killed her brother and was trying to bump off her college professor.All cause they made her mad.I would hate to see what happens if you step on her foot by mistake.She round here bragging on having an IQ of 180 yet she trying to say she was insane.Send her here to Florida,we got a special "chair" for the insane.It's been around for years.Us Floridians like to call it "Ole Sparky".
How you gonna get mad at the IRS and fly your plane into the building.Um I thought when you wanted to fight back against injustice,you were supposed to be alive to have your voice heard.
Whut da hale you kill yourself for and leave behind a six page letter telling how you feel.Um ain nobody taking the time to read all that.They scaning for the intresting parts.
Finaly,ok I get Obama is going to be picked apart with a fine tooth comb,but some of the people holding the comb have no room to talk.Case in point,ole Dick Cheney.He sat his self up there and said"Obama is a one term president".Dick who you trying to convince me or you?I ain see you running nothing but your mouth.You had more days off as vice president then anyone I know.If your heart wasnt bothering you,you children was cuttin up,then you shot your friend and convinced him it was his fault.I'm still trying to figure that one out,and you got the nerve to make a prediction.How bout you put the comb down,your hair is fading just as fast as my dreams to win the Powerball!

Why you hollin?!?!
Ok so I'm watching the number 1020something episode of Maury and this chick from a past show is on there for a paternity test.I say she's a brave person to put her bness out there like that.I mean you sleeping with your man's cousin who just so happens to be the fiance' of her sister.As if this wasn't enough to grasp,she made the announcement that she was pregnant and not sure which one was the father.
Well jump on to today's episode,homegirl was mad cause the ex-boyfriend wasnt putting in work with the baby like his cousin was.The kicker came when it was revealed that the sister's ex fiance' was also the father of her 4 children,ARE YOU SERIOUS??You sleeping with cousins,and your neices and nephews daddy!!Stop playin.
Maury reaveals the results,neither one of them were the father.She ran off hollin like a fool,um no ma'am,you did a big girl move now take your big girl pill!!!

How long can you stand?
Often times it is said:Stand for something or you'll fall for anything.Well how long can you stand to watch a train wreck?How long can you stand to see an injustice that doesnt require much fight to fix.We often can give an opinion on how some one else can live their lives,yet we tend to live our lives to please others or we end up in a worse situation than they are.How many times has someone gave you meaningless advice?I say meaningless because they often tell you how to handle a situation when they too are dealing with the same situation and have yet to fix it.We can stand for right or wrong,Doesnt matter which side you chose,you will stand.If you do good you stand to be rewarded or overlooked,if you do wrong,you will stand before a court of law and and take resposibility for what you did.
What ever you choose to stand for,make sure you can honestly be proud of what you stand for.

Ok so Tiger Woods is supposed to make a statement Friday.My question is why?He's not the first person to have an affair and blame it on sex addiction and my guess is he wont be the last.I just dont understand how the public feels they have a sense of entitlement to these celebrities and the act as though they have a right to know.
