Are you Being Grown or Playing Grown

Why do people insist on living beyond their means?Your not going to die if you can't keep up with the "Jonese".You not gonna die if have to ride in a hoopty as opposed to driving a Beamer or Benz.Stop materializing your life and placing a superfical value  on it.I notice when big event come to town,folks go buy all this name brand stuff,get their hair done,even rent a car and rent some rims to go on the rental car so they can look good.When the weekend is over and they turned all that stuff in,their left with nothing.Their sitting in a dark apartment or house with little or nothing to eat,and they kids wishing they coulda been placed with anyone but you.That right there is playing grown up.
Being grown is being able to say I gotta eat when that event is over and Im not going to be able to do it this trip.The power company is not going to understand you sepnt their money trying to impress someone who only see you for somethin that your not.When you play grown up not only are you making it hard for people to take you serious,no one wants to deal with you because they think your still childish and no one wants to play games unless their made by Milton Bradly or Hasbro!

If you still playing the same games you were playing in high school,then you are really playin grown up.
If you still just saying stuff to impress people who dont give to flips about you,you still playing grown up.
When you start making adult decision not only will things change for the better,but you will feel better about yourself and your family.Being grown is not an easy task,but it's not hard to do the right thing either.
