Morning all,
Im sitting here watching the news and while their still analyzing Tiger Woods,I'm still confused as to why our young people have recieved these golden oppertunities and seem to loose the almost as fast as they got them.
There's a saying: "Dont forget where you come from",it doesnt mean bring where you come from with you.If you struggled then make it big,you should do everything in your power not to go back to that place.Alot of our young men make it out via sports and they cant complete college or make their goal for the NBA or NFL because they bring the neighborhood life with them.Some of the parents have failed them,however we as a society should not.Some may not know better and others may not care,but we need to go back to the days of it takes a village.My soapbox this year is going to be "to reach one,teach one".Join with me and lets change the way our children think and make it a positive outlook.
