The old saying "All good things must come to an end" rings true in a situation you never should have been in.Granted going in you knew it was going to be a doosey,but you played with it and went in anyway.Your heart never belonged there, but you made it stay there with you so you could fulfill your own selfish needs.As time went on,you proceeded to feel that "um this ain really what I want."But you have invested so much time and energy into it seems foolish to walk away from it now.You have a million and one reason why your unhappy,but only one as to why you cant leave.It's amazing how we will settle for the wrong in a relationship as to being by yourself.The number one excuse is the kids.People either break up or stay together because of the kids.In the end if the relationship is dead,then you are only hurting the kids by continuing to stay in the situation.I am learning late in life that men can not save us from our families or ourselves.I never prayed for God to send me a man,I just asked was he the man.One morning you will wake up and look at them and ask yourself,what am I doing here!But then your feet become cement and for some reason you can't move.Just know the first step is the hardest,but the ones following slowly become easier to take.
Never look at the bad situations as time wasted,think of it as valuable classroom time where you learned what not to do in the future.Know that if you learn from it,then you can grow from it .I think when you focus so much on your have nots,you miss out on the have's.
